Mr. Godfrey co-founded Stella Point Capital in 2012. Previously, Mr. Godfrey spent nearly 19 years with Lindsay Goldberg, Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer and Bessemer Holdings. He joined Bessemer in 1992 when it had just five investment professionals. He played a significant role in the development of Lindsay Goldberg, which raised more than $10 billion across three private equity funds during his tenure. Mr. Godfrey sourced and managed numerous investments for the firm, serving on the boards of twelve portfolio companies. Currently, he serves on the board of First American Payment Systems, Intermex and Rightpoint. He also serves as a Board Member of Schneider National and as a Member of the Center for Private Equity at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where he previously served as a member of the MBA Advisory Board. He is also an Advisory Council Member for the Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University. Mr. Godfrey holds his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and his BA from Brown University.
